David McDivitt is a SAG-AFTRA actor, writer, director, and military technical advisor based in Medford, Massachusetts. He served in the United States Army National Guard as a CH-47 Chinook helicopter mechanic, then in the United States Marine Corps as an organizational automotive mechanic — an honorable discharge from each branch.
That background doesn't just inform The Night Watch. It built it. Mac — the janitor who fixes machines and neutralizes threats with the same quiet efficiency — is written from the inside out by someone who has held the wrench and worn the uniform.
McDivitt brings to the screen a precision that can't be faked: the way a man moves through a building, the way he reads a room, the way he chooses not to speak until it matters. The Night Watch is his feature debut as writer-director.
